However there has been some improvement in the Education sector due to introduction of Universal Primary Education (UPE) but still there are predominately low levels of Education and lack of skills because “Most children whose parents are ill or deceased and jobless have their Education interrupted”. Which mainly a result of high dropout rates, especially girls in both primary and secondary school which in turn leads to lack of basic needs like scholastic materials, (Books, Pencils, Pens, uniforms etc..), teenage pregnancies and early marriage. KOFS sponsor children from the age 5-12 years acquire better education for both formal and informal to enable them to smile in future. Over 500 children have been registered in the system.

Mostly among African death of children are caused by malaria, where a child dies every minute from malaria. Malaria is preventable and curable. Increased malaria prevention and control measures are dramatically reducing the malaria burden in many places.( world Health organisation Report 2010).
According to UNICEF, “Children orphaned by HIV/AIDS are disadvantaged in numerous and often devastating ways. In addition to the trauma of witnessing the sickness and death of one or both parents, they are likely to be poorer and less healthy than non-orphans. They are more likely to suffer damage to their cognitive and emotional development”.

KOFS, and well wishers we can provide poor families with treated mosquito net in addition, to prevent malaria or provide free tests , guidance and counseling to young people especially when a child displays symptoms that could be malaria and if the test is positive treatment is started immediately.
Knowing that they will be helped when they are sick brings a tremendous relief to poor communities where vulnerable families cannot afford to buy medicine.
Kofs managed to start up an income generating project by starting up a small scale beverage industry so that it can boost up its income to enable it fund its programs,
To date, services provided by KOFS are increasing and are 100% dependents on funds provided by well-wishers and donors. Most of these well-wishers are local Ugandans who are now hard hit by the high cost of living in the country. Due to high increasing beneficiaries kofs is now having a problem of insufficient facilitations to its beneficiaries.
KOFS is operating in the area of about 15,000 people. The area where KOFS is located is semi-urban and developing very fast. KOFS projects at Kawanda will continue to grow once the industry is Enlarged, there will be more production, high supply to the market and more funds to enable it build a storage building of classrooms, boys dormitory will be built and the administration block will be completed. And eventually enable KOFS projects to become self-sustaining.
These project once fully implemented will go a long way to make KOFS a self-sustaining organization. More so, the widows and the out of school youth will get income and will also be given jobs to sustain their families. The market for parked water, juice is very big in Uganda and in East Africa i.e. Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi and southern Sudan.
We here therefore seeking for funds to buy a bigger production and parking machine so that we can increase on our production this will cost us $75,000 buying and installation. Or anybody can help us buy it and ship it to our address. We Ask the Almighty Lord to Bless Who Ever Can Help Us in That Matter Therefore.
